The season traditionally concludes with the annual Pine Trees Longboard Classic, typically held in late April or early May.
The Western End

Getting There
Hanalei Beach is easily reached via Kuhio Highway (Route 560). After entering Hanalei Town, turn right onto Aku Road at Kalypso Island Bar & Grill. At the end of Aku Road, you'll reach scenic Weke Road, lined with charming beachfront homes.
Turn right on Weke Road for Hanalei Pier and Hanalei Pavilion Beach Park, or head left for Waioli Beach Park (Pine Trees).
Parking
Parking fills quickly, especially during weekends, holidays, and summer afternoons. Hanalei Pavilion Beach Park and Black Pot Beach Park are the most popular parking areas, but additional overflow parking is available across the street near the Hanalei Canoe Club. More parking can also be found farther west near Hee Road and Anae Road, providing convenient access to Waioli Beach Park.

Lifeguards
