Beach House Craft Fair Kauai

Beach House Craft Fair Kauai

Held at the Beach House Restaurant in Poipu, Kauai, overlooking golden Lawai Beach, the Beach House Craft Fair offers one of the most scenic shopping experiences on Kauai. Held on select Sundays just outside the restaurant, this open-air gathering brings together more than 40 local vendors in a relaxed, oceanfront setting.

Visitors can browse a wide range of handcrafted goods, from heritage crafts and island-inspired clothing to jewelry, photography, paintings, and locally made snacks. The fair is a celebration of Kauai’s creative community, with each booth offering something unique—whether it’s a one-of-a-kind keepsake or a gift that captures the spirit of the island.

On sunny days, vendors line the lawn outside the restaurant, where sweeping ocean views and gentle sea breezes create a quintessential south shore atmosphere. If weather conditions turn, the fair moves indoors inside the restaurant, ensuring the experience continues without interruption.

On a recent visit, we were pleased to spot several familiar faces among the vendors, including Nataliearth and Iliokai—both of which have been featured in Kauai Magazine.

For visitors exploring Poipu, the Beach House Craft Fair is an easy addition to a Sunday morning—pair it with a coastal walk, a beach stop, or simply time spent taking in the view. With its combination of local artistry and one of the island’s most beautiful settings, it’s a Kauai experience that feels both authentic and unforgettable.

The next scheduled dates are May 17 and June 21, 2026, with hours from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is typically held monthly, often on the second or third Sunday, though dates can vary.

Photos from a visit to the Beach House Craft Fair several months ago can be found below, capturing the event as it was held outdoors on a beautiful south shore morning. In recent months, however, several fairs have been moved indoors due to weather conditions, offering a different but equally enjoyable experience inside the restaurant.
