Save the date for the 11th Annual Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival, a celebration of all thing’s chocolate and coffee, taking place Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kilohana Plantation in Līhuʻe, Kauaʻi.
The festival is moving forward as planned. In the wake of Hurricane Lowell, communities across Kauaʻi are working to recover from the impacts of the storm. This year’s festival takes on added meaning as an opportunity to bring the community together, support local businesses, farmers and producers, and celebrate the strength and resilience of Kauaʻi.
Under the theme “Celebrating Kauaʻi. Supporting Recovery.” the festival invites residents and visitors to spend the day enjoying some of Hawaiʻi’s finest locally grown and made products while supporting the people and businesses that make Kauaʻi so special.
Festivalgoers can look forward to chocolate and coffee sampling, informative demonstrations and presentations, live entertainment, a silent auction, local food, crafters, artisans, food trucks, and exhibitor booths featuring chocolate and coffee products from Kauaʻi and throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
Admission to the festival is free. Guests who want to participate in chocolate and coffee sampling may purchase a tasting passport, available in advance online and at the event while supplies last.
This year, attending the Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival is about more than enjoying two of Hawaiʻi’s favorite agricultural products. It is an opportunity to show up for Kauaʻi, shop local, support recovery and celebrate our community together.
Celebrating Hawaiʻi Agriculture
The mission of the Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival is to provide an event that brings together visitors and residents while highlighting Hawaiʻi’s cacao and coffee industries and showcasing the products and talents of local farmers, chefs, roasters, chocolatiers, baristas, manufacturers, artisans and small businesses.
The festival provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more about how cacao and coffee are grown, produced and transformed into the products enjoyed throughout Hawaiʻi while connecting directly with the farmers, makers and businesses behind them.
Supporting Kauaʻi
The event benefits Mālama Kauaʻi, a community-based nonprofit organization working to increase local food production and food access and build a more sustainable and resilient island community.
The festival is supported by the County of Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program, Lydgate Farms and Special Events Hawaiʻi.

About the Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival
The Kauaʻi Chocolate & Coffee Festival celebrates Hawaiʻi’s cacao and coffee industries while creating opportunities for residents and visitors to experience locally grown and made products and meet the farmers, producers and makers behind them.
In 2019, the festival was recognized as Best Tourism Event in the Heritage and Cultural Division at the Hawaiʻi Lodging and Hospitality Awards. The event was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and presented virtually in 2021, showcasing participating vendors and their products from farm to table.
